an exclamation point can make a huge difference

over dinner some weeks ago, my sister taught me a lesson on how i should believe in myself; and also reminded me why the exclamation point is my favorite punctuation mark of all.


we were at mesa in trinoma and mike was telling me about an australian company looking to start on a project here in the philippines - a kind of project that i am very much familiar with.

mike: naghahanap sila ng ceo. are you interested?
len: ha?! ceo? ako?
lycel: mali. dapat, "ceo? AKO!"

conviction is key, indeed :)

it is conversations like this that make me feel sad that we live so far from each other. my sister is now in singapore en route to jakarta and i miss her already.
