imagination

it's always exciting for mike and i to see how sloan is starting to learn a lot of words and understand the world around him. he can identify animals and objects in the educational posters we have in our room, he can process instructions, and he loves exploring especially when outdoors.

one of the things i'm really happy about is how this kid seems to have quite an imagination. excuse me while i go on stage-momma mode and share some stories hehehe :)

one time he took his father's guitar stand, put it across his back, then started yelling "kawoo! kawoo!" he was imitating the neighborhood magtataho :)

while riding his bike, he took a bucket and put it over his head as a makeshift helmet. another time it was the mini stool which he wore on his head while he was on his "twist car." (see photo hehe) 

this morning, he asked me open a seatbelt clip, then he placed it against his ear, then went, "hello?" haha! a mobile phone, why not!

seeing him being quite creative at his age is always fun for mike and i. we aim to do all we can to nourish this as sloan grows up. it's such a big responsibility but we're definitely up for the challenge.
