sloan turns two: celebrating with loved ones
we didn't hold a big party for sloan's 2nd birthday but of course we made sure to celebrate it somehow with our loved ones.
as early as september, i sent my sister a photobook which contained sloan's different adventures on his second year, along with a copy of the poem which i made. on sloan's actual birthday, i told her that she and rocel should have some cake to mark the occasion. but she went a step further by organizing a day of building with habitat for humanity with their friends.

ate and her friends also held a puppet show for the kids!
back in manila, we brought sloan to my office and had him distribute the sugar cookies to my officemates himself. we also dropped by the 101.9 booth so he can visit his ninong, my former radio co-host in the request express, martin d, as well as mike's and my old friends in the station.
then on the last day of the long weekend, we had mike's family over for a simple get together over lunch. the little boy was thrilled to have his cousins over and gamely displayed his dancing skills to the tune of oppa gangnam style hehehe :) we also gave them a photobook similar to the one we gave my sister and they loved it!
simple but memorable :)

they also gave away snack packs which had toddler biscuits with the number 2 on them, a toast to sloan's birthday :)
