catching up with friends

my social calendar has been pretty full lately and i'm definitely grateful for the chance to catch up with some good friends :)

nadine was in town, on a break from her studies in melbourne, australia where she's currently based. four out of six of the thesis girls were reunited over dinner at adarna: nadine, kathrina, annej and i; the other two, she and naths, are both based abroad. annej's baby girl aria also made a special appearance. antok na siya, pero game pa rin!

ladies and gentlemen, i present lee

after a long, long while, i was finally able to see lee jerko again! i needed his creative input for a project mike and i are currently working on and we discussed this over lunch at wild flour in bonifacio global city. we were together for about a couple of hours, yet we discussed the project in about 15 minutes tops - the rest of the time was spent catching up hehe :) that's the great thing about knowing the person you're working with - you just get each other right away, and that gives more opportunity for kwento! sayang lang naubusan na kami ng cronuts haha!

the corp comm girls also bonded over drinks and dinner at whistletop in abs-cbn :) make that the past and present corp comm girls, since telly and i are no longer part of the group hehe. family dramas, boyfriend blues, and office chikas were the night's topics, but it was mainly cet's stories that had us hooked. sabi nga ni telly, presscon ni cet ang gabing ito hehe :)

i also got to spend some quality time with annej :) we met up for lunch and a mani-pedi session at eastwood. the stories were of course non-stop, as it had been a while since we last saw each other. it may have well been a throwback to 2008 when she and i would go on weekly shopping/movie dates, and i must say i've truly missed those! looking forward to the next date!

still a few more people i'd love to catch up with. hopefully i can get to do that in the coming days :)
