sunday morning at the sidcor market

we' ve been planning to stock up on fruits but the choices in the supermarket are very limited and are quite pricey too. we usuall end up with a small bag of grapes and a few bananas and that's about it. we've been hearing about the sidcor sunday market at eton centris, and last sunday, we finally decided to check it out.

it's been a while since we last checked out eton and it was a nice surprise that more stores and restaurants have already opened.

there was even a nike sb store, and of course mike had to pay homage hehehe.

there was also a mini playground where sloan played a bit. at kung saan siya nauntog - si mike kasi e hahaha :)

sidcor market was an even nicer surprise. we thought it was just a small, simple sunday market, and the small entrance would lead you to believe so. but past the entrance, it opens up to a really big market. it kinda reminded me of bangkok's jatujak market.

there was a variety of goods available, from clothes...

to cleaning materials...

to fresh meat and seafood.

mike and i were overwhelmed and were tempted to buy stuff, but we had no menu in mind and we didn't wanna end up buying stuff we won't be able to use that would just spoil in our ref. so we decided it'll be best to stick to the plan of buying fruits only.

we got a kilo of mangoes, a big bag of grapes, bananas, and the sweetest dalandans. the awesome part is that everything cost us under P500. ang saya saya!!! i cannot imagine getting that many for that amount in a supermarket.

di bale, sa susunod mas prepared na kami. i'm just really happy we discovered this place and that it's super near where we live. we'll definitely be back :)
