science-in-the-park and the burgos circle park

back in grade school, one of the stops during our field trip was the philippine science centrum, which was then located somewhere in manila. i remember being so fascinated by it. i'm not very much into science, but all the activities explained science-y facts in a fun way hehe :)

that was years ago and today, apart from the science centrum, a number of similarly-themed museums have opened in the country, one of which is mind museum. kids are lucky there are more options for field trips!

abs-cbn is among the sponsors of the mind museum, and i had the chance to check it out during its soft opening sometime last year. i had fun checking out the the different galleries, kahit pa nilalagnat ako.

sloan was still a baby then pero syempre nagpaplano na ko sa isip ko na dadalhin ko siya dun :) last saturday, we were able to make it happen.

my boss gave me ticket complimentary tickets to the mind museum's first ever traveling exhibit called biorhythym, which is all about the relationship of music and the human body. it was an interactive exhibit and we had fun trying out the different activities.

there were some that weren't available though. anyways...

the tickets did not include a pass to the museum itself and naisip namin na baka di pa naman ma-appreciate ni sloan yung mga ganap sa loob, so instead, we checked out science-in-the-park. entrance to this place was included in the tickets, but if bet mong gumora nang di nagmu-museum, P100 lang siya. super sulit yan :)

sloan had a great time!!! as in :) and we did too! naalala ko na naman yung field trip ko nung kabataan ko hahaha! i'll let the pictures do the talking:

it got a little crowded later on because there was a group of fieldtrip-ers, but keri na din. we had to go anyway because we needed to eat already.

after a yummy early dinner at uncle cheffy's (the chicken was so good!), we hung out at this park near the burgos circle. it's not as wide as in the open area at bonifacio high street, but it was also not as crowded and just as lovely!



as usual, sloan had a blast running around. nakisali pa sa kantahan ng isang group ng mga bagets dun :) too bad i wasn't able to take a photo.

absolutely a saturday well-spent!
