feels so write

we got a pack of free postcards when we bought ciudad's new album during the launch held recently at route 196. i was reminded of how i was able to send out a couple of postcards while we were in singapore last january - one for my sister lycel in jakarta, and the other for my friend star in the US. both postcards were much appreciated and i was happy about that; and also happy about how i was able to do snail mail again.

and so i was looking forward to putting the ciudad postcards to good use. but then i realized, there are only a few people whom i know the addresses of. everybody's connected on email, facebook, twitter, etc., that i (and a lot of people too, i'm sure) don't keep an address book anymore like in the olden days.

olden days talaga! hahaha :) para namang ang tagal tagal na. e sabagay, talaga namang matagal na hahaha! when i was a kid, it was an in thing to have people fill up your address book, never mind if you lived in the same neighborhood and you didn't really have a purpose in getting other people's address.

here's a random story: when i was in third grade, my cousin gave me an address where i can send a fanmail to ian veneracion (my first ever celeb crush!). i was so excited about it! it wasn't his home address but that of broadway studio, where they did "that's entertainment." i never really got to write a letter though. i wonder kung anong isinulat ko sa kanya kung sakali...

anyways. unlike my failed attempt to write to ian veneracion, i do wish to succeed in sending out these ciudad postcards.  you know why? because it feels-so-write! CHOS! seriously, in case you're up for receiving something in the mail, hit me up with your address. i promise i make sense even though my handwriting would suggest otherwise :)
