33 years old na ko

when my friend annej texted to greet me a happy birthday, i replied that i could easily deny that i was 33, tutal naman mahina ang ebidensya kasi mukha akong mas bata sa 33 :D chos!

pak! ang macho diba! this was taken at eastwood on my exact birthday, september 25. if this was twitter, the hashtag for this would  be #tapangngapog and #lakasngloob hehehe :)

anyways. let me share how my birthday went :)

on the eve of my birthday, i received three postcards from trin, my cousin mark's wife. i was super excited to see these in our mailbox! i love all three but my favorite is the one at the foreground :) aja! or in my sister's bahasa indonesia translation, ayo lah!

the next morning, i woke up with a bit of migraine. killjoy lang! but the greetings and kisses from mike and sloan were more than enough to banish the headache and we headed to the newly-opened seattle's best in our neighborhood for breakfast. medyo nahiya naman kami kay sloan dahil naka-pambahay lang siya nung nakaraan, kaya binihisan na namin yung bata tutal may okasyon naman :D

i had to work in the morning because there was this really important event that i needed to handle. but it was fun dropping by at work because lovely greetings from the corp comm team welcomed me as i entered the office :) 

i also sneaked a peek on facebook to read some messages and was excited to see so many birthday greetings. lakas maka-rockstar ng facebook pag birthday mo!another thing i was psyched to read was this. most awesome love letter slash birthday gift! :) those lines are all inside jokes which makes it more special. and "waway" is sloan's word for milk :)

when i was done with work, i rushed to meet mike for a lunch date.

i've long been bugging him for a dampa lunch and a swensen's dessert, and we finally made it happen on my birthday. in dampa libis, we ordered prawns, a crab, and a lapu-lapu, which we easily wiped out in a matter of minutes. saraaaaaaap! super sulit pa! lahat yon for only about a thousand bucks!

nag-picture muna kami bago lumafang kasi syempre pag nagsimula na, kamayan na ang peg nito at paniguradong malagkit na yung mga kamay namin :D

ni hindi na nga umabot sa phot op yung isda kasi panay sarsa na yung mga daliri namin by the time dinala siya hehehe :) then we headed to eastwood where we walked around a bit to make space for the ice cream.

after a while, attack!

we headed home after that and played with our little boy for the rest of the afternoon. this was how my day ended:

...curled up with sloan on one side of the couch, with mike on the other end. it was perfect :)
