new restos on the block

a lot of new restos and fastfoods have been popping up in our neighborhood and the latest addition are kenny rogers and seattle's best. mike and i have been waiting for these two to open as we've maximized all the other establishments in the area, from mcdonald's to trellis, shakey's to snackaroo.

last sunday morning, we decided to check it out for a super early lunch with sloan. the space these two establishments occupy is really big, and thankfully, they allocated a big part of it for parking. most of the other restos don't have a proper parking area kaya ang ending, nasa kalye yung mga kotse at nakaka-abala sa traffic - this can be a nightmare for residents like us.

after quickly checking out seattle's and appreciating its interiors, we decided to eat at kenny's.




the place being new, it was spiffy clean. i liked the minimalist design and the high ceiling and how spacious it was. also, it was a sit-down resto, instead of the usual fast food type of kenny's.

the service was fast enough too. hopefully hindi lang dahil konti pa lang ang tao hehe. what i was quite disappointed at was the plating of the food, which wasn't so enticing. very cafeteria ang peg ng itsura :) plus, i'm a bit oc about sauces mixing, kaya hindi ko bet na may mac and cheese sauce yung kanin ko. i hope they can come up with a plating that looks more appetizing to eat.

kita mo, kahit si sloan hindi niya bet! haha :) anyways. kenny's is very near our place and it was tempting to go there nang naka-pambahay lang. pero nahiya naman kami ng konti kaya nag-effort kami ni mike mag-bihis. si sloan, keri na ang bahay look tutal cute naman siya. chos!
